Assesment of Ben Jerrys mission statement

Ben and Jerry’s mission statement is broken down into three categories that are all intertwined with one another. The first category, which is their product mission, states their commitment to excellence concerning the quality, distribution, and selling of their product, while regarding the inviolability of our planet and our environment. The second category, their economic mission, asserts the necessity of financial growth that will not only raise the value for their stakeholders, but will also generate opportunities for their employees. There third category is their social mission, which emphasizes the need to recognize how business affects society and ways they can improve upon these affects. Finally, their mission, as a whole, states that all three must be present and flourishing with a constant respect and support of not only the individuals in the company, but for those who make up the communities surrounding the business.
